Hello,
I'm working with SEO of a Website on Web Hosting niche. Previous permalinks of that was a non-www version & also without a SSL Certificate which is currently indexed in google search engine. I have updated the permalinks with www & a SSL Certificate. I have requested removal of previous indexed pages using the removal tool in Webmaster Tools. But google didn't clear the index yet. How long will Google take to clear that index? Does anyone know?

In case my previous website, clear index take 3 - 6 months.

Even if you have cleared the links from your end it may still take atleast one month or at the max 3 months to clear those old indexed links from the Google's Inedx.
In my case it tool around one and half month for the old index to get cleared away. So wait for while. Work more on the new ones and after a month or so check whether the old indexed URL's have vanished or not.
