Business needs

Cloud servers are oriented for small or mid-sized business
Dedicated servers are great for large scale business

Server crash

Your website won't go down in Cloud hosting as data is retrievable from multiple machines.
No backup solution is present in Dedicated hosting, thus, resulting in failed working of your website.

Cost

Cloud hosting service charges you only for the amount of storage you access for a certain time span.
Dedicated hosting is based on monthly costing which depends on the package you choose.

Performance

Dedicated hosting is faster than cloud hosting as a separate hardware and infrastructure is installed for your site or application.
