I think SEO is probably the best way of advertising, but also a bit of variety. Use more than one form of advertising.

Completely agree. It's all about SEO. I would never use free advertising. The benifits are minimal at best.

But I think that I'll go with article marketing since I love to write..

Depends on what type of business and who your potential customer is and how much business you can handle at one time. For instance you could do your local online yellow pages or phone book. you could partner up with other local small businesses and cross market. local cable channels, papers, direct mail, direct mail magazines, fliers, radio, websites with search engine marketing, video ads. I really find that business can come from a mix of different of places...normally customers don't all just come from one place...that's funny to me because I know some of the people I sell like to think that. Being consistant with branding and advertising in a vairety of places I think is the best way to do it...and depending on how many leads you need will ultimately then result in what media you would market and how often.

There are many ways for advertise but I would suggest you PPC and SEO prefer any one as per your budget!
