Crawling is one of the main tasks of search engines. When new web pages are designed, search engine bots or spiders visit and crawl those web pages. After crawling, search engines save the URL of those web pages on their server, which is called indexing. It is another task of search engines by which your web pages appear on SERPs when users search on search engines. Indexing simply means your site appears on search engines.
