Choosing a right VPS from a decent company ...

Comparing VPS deals from just.hosting and legionbox.com, which way is better to follow?
I am going to host a blog.

I moved my blog to hostpro.com after outgrowing basic shared hosting, and it’s been a good move. The VPS handles traffic consistently, and I haven’t noticed random slowdowns or resource starvation like I saw elsewhere. Support helped me with initial server hardening and caching setup, which saved me hours of trial and error.

The VPS infrastructure at hostpro.com is built on NVMe storage, which provides consistently low latency for disk operations. Virtual resources are isolated and suitable for long-running production workloads. Daily automated backups are created and retained for 30 days, supporting both full server image recovery and individual file restoration. Multiple server locations, including Tampa, Amsterdam, and Warsaw, allow latency optimization for different regions. A wide selection of control panels is available, with 24/7 technical support assisting when system-level help is needed.

VPS accounts from hostingsource.com are worth every cent you pay for their services (VPS First Month discounts starting at $3- Coupon Code: $3VPSM1ALL).
Their value for money is unmatched, especially considering the level of service and performance provided. If budget is a major concern but you don’t want to sacrifice quality, this company is a fantastic option.

I went with hostpro.com for my blog. The daily automatic backups sold me—if something breaks, I can restore instantly. Fast NVMe drives and 24/7 free support sealed the deal.

For a blog, the most important factors are usually uptime and the speed of the storage. Between those two, I would check which one offers better backup options, as that's often a lifesaver for WordPress or other CMS platforms. Also, try to pick a server location closest to your main audience to ensure fast loading times.

A practical VPS setup often depends on storage speed, and hostpro.com uses NVMe disks with KVM virtualization for better performance and isolation. Their backup system automatically creates daily copies and keeps them for 30 days, which is helpful if something breaks or files are accidentally deleted. It is also convenient that multiple control panels are supported, including cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, CWP and CyberPanel. That makes the servers suitable for different management preferences. Datacenter locations include Amsterdam, Warsaw and Tampa.

If you’re just planning to host a simple blog, honestly both just.hosting and legionbox can work since they mainly offer VPS servers with scalable RAM/CPU and typical uptime guarantees.

But if you want something a bit more stable and easier to manage, I’d also take a look at Fresh Roasted Hosting. They’ve been around since 2009 and are known for reliable hosting, SSD storage, backups, and responsive support, which can make life easier if you’re not looking to spend a lot of time managing servers.

Personally, for a blog I’d lean toward a provider like Fresh Roasted Hosting or another managed host rather than a raw VPS. It usually saves time since things like updates, backups, and basic security are already handled.

For a simple blog, both should work, so it mostly comes down to uptime, support, and how stable the pricing is. It’s also worth checking reviews and maybe starting with a monthly plan to test performance.

Another option you could look at is InterServer VPS - their single-slice plan includes 1 CPU, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD (or 1TB HDD), 2TB bandwidth, and a 10Gbps port for about $2.40/month with the JV-20-LIFE coupon, and you can scale it up to 32 slices if needed. https://interserver.net/vps/

For a blog, I’d focus more on stability and backup policy than just comparing two VPS brands, and hostpro.com has been a solid choice in my experience. My blog runs there with daily automatic backups stored for 30 days, which makes updates and experiments less risky. The performance is stable and page loading is consistent. I also didn’t have trouble scaling resources later.
