What SEO strategies are actually working in 2026?

    Hi everyone,

Search engines seem to be evolving quite rapidly with AI-driven search results and new ranking signals.

Traditional keyword optimization still plays a role, but things like topical authority, structured content and user intent appear to be becoming more important.

For example, pages that clearly answer a user’s question often perform better than pages optimized only for keywords.

I recently read an article explaining how modern SEO strategies are evolving:

Curious to hear what strategies others are focusing on lately.

    1. Semantic SEO: Semantic SEO is when we post content for the users only, not for the robots. Like, not focusing on high-volume keywords, but writing the content in a way that it can answer the user’s query. In Short, it’s about context, not the exact keywords.

    2. How can we rank our website on AI and other LLMS platforms? To rank on the LLMS Platform, you can follow the steps below, which might help you:

    a. Research for the Topic - Before directly prompting AI to write on a topic, you first need to know about the topics that you have in your mind, so asks AI to cover almost everything about that particular topic.

    b. Go In-depth, by having a conversation with AI: Most importantly step is to ask as many questions or doubts you have in your mind. In this way, you may also cover the doubt that your users might be browsing for the answers on the internet.

    c. Ask AI to structure the Entire conversation as an Article: Your third step is to get a structure as an Article of your entire conversation that you had with AI.

    d. Ask AI to write a prompt for which you can Ask other AI platform to write an article: AI will generate a structured prompt. Hence, passing that prompt to other AI platforms will create content that will cover almost all topics, and it will answer every doubt related to that topic.

In my view, writing content in this is not a big deal, but writing the content that is different from your competitors, which is easier to understand and enjoyable to read. Nowadays, writing content with the help of AI is fast and easier, but writing the content by doing as much research as possible will definitely need human efforts; that’s where AI fails, and human efforts play a vital role.

I've been doubling down on intent-focused content and cleaning up internal linking so search engines can see clear topic clusters. Structured answers to specific questions seem to get picked up fast. Working with Tempest Digital helped me shape longer content into tighter, more useful sections, and that bumped a bunch of pages into steady traffic. Topic depth plus clean structure beats keyword stuffing every time.

Traditional keyword optimization is still important, but modern SEO is increasingly focused on factors like topical authority, well-structured content, and understanding user intent. Search engines now prioritize pages that provide clear, relevant, and direct answers to user questions over those that rely only on keyword targeting. As a result, creating helpful, in-depth content that fully addresses what users are looking for tends to perform better in search rankings than content optimized solely for specific keywords.
