Yes, I wholeheartedly concur that cloud hosting is superior to VPS. Glasgow is a city with double glazing. The author does a wonderful job of connecting the local climate and house stock to energy efficiency, comfort, and noise reduction.

Neither is automatically the best option. It really depends on what you're planning to host and what your requirements are.

Cloud hosting is often a good fit if you need flexibility and expect resource requirements to change over time. A VPS can be a great choice when you want dedicated resources at a predictable cost and don't need the additional scalability that cloud platforms offer.

In many cases, factors like performance, uptime, support quality, and how well the hosting solution matches your workload are more important than whether it's labelled as "cloud" or "VPS."

The best choice is usually the one that fits your project's needs rather than the one with the most features on paper.

There’s no single best option. For value and simplicity, I’d look at Contabo or InterServer. If you need lots of flexibility and managed services, cloud providers are great, but for most small projects a VPS is usually the better deal.

Choosing the ideal hosting solution depends heavily on your project's specific demands. Cloud hosting provides superior performance for sites experiencing unpredictable traffic or requiring high availability and extensive scalability. Conversely, a traditional VPS is ideal for those seeking dedicated resources alongside fixed, predictable monthly costs.

That is an interesting way to look at it. Efficiency and resource management are definitely the biggest factors when deciding between these two. Cloud hosting is hard to beat when you need that specific kind of scalability and performance for growing projects.

There isn't a single "best" option because it depends on your website's needs.

VPS hosting is a great choice if you want dedicated resources, predictable monthly pricing, and more control over your server. It's ideal for growing websites, blogs, business sites, and many eCommerce stores.
Cloud hosting is better if your traffic fluctuates or you need high availability and easy scalability. Since it uses multiple servers, it can offer better redundancy and make it easier to handle traffic spikes.

For most small to medium-sized websites, a VPS provides an excellent balance of performance and cost. If you expect rapid growth or unpredictable traffic, cloud hosting is usually the more flexible long-term option.

What type of website are you planning to host—WordPress, an online store, or a custom application?
