Hosting a university project with Docker and a database

I'm working on a university project that involves building a web application with Docker, a Python backend, and a PostgreSQL database. I want to deploy it on a real server rather than keep running everything locally. Since this is a learning project, I don't need a huge amount of resources, but daily backups and DDoS protection are still requirements. I came across hostpro.com while searching for VPS providers. Would their services be suitable for a student project, and is the setup flexible enough for Docker-based applications?

As an alternative, try also considering Hostpresto.com UK hosting solutions. Outstanding customer support, always ready to help whenever I need assistance.
Green hosting gives me a competitive edge because more users today actually care about sustainability and eco-conscious businesses. Try for £1.00 - they are offering 1 month trial now.
