Landing page is the page of your website for which you target to get indexed in the search engines and get better SERP.
You need to optimize your landing page to get maximum conversions from the search engine traffic.

Landing page is the one in which you go directly when you click on a link. It is where you land! The general goal of this page is to convert the traffic to that page into sales. So it becomes very important to optimize this page. Lead Capture Page is another name for this page.
