How Much Disk Space Do Forum Websites Usually Need?

Hello, I’m planning to create a community forum where users can post images and discussions.
How much storage should I prepare for posts, avatars, and attachments?
Is 100GB or 500GB enough to start? Can I rely on Regvps.com hosting solutions?
I’m not sure how fast forum content grows.

For a new forum, storage needs grow slowly at first: text posts and avatars take very little space, but attachments (especially images) can add up over time. Starting with 100GB–500GB is usually enough, and you can upgrade later as the community grows.

If you want cheap high‑storage hosting, you can test InterServer’s Storage VPS, which gives 1TB HDD for just $2.40/month with coupon JV-20-LIFE. They also support free control panels like DirectAdmin or Webuzo personal license, making setup easier.

As for RegVPS.com, they do offer budget VPS plans, but reviews are mixed: some users report decent performance, while others mention support and reliability issues. It’s fine to try them, but for long‑term growth, providers like InterServer or Hetzner are usually more trusted.
