GoDaddy is reliable. They are in the top ten of web hosting service providers. The uptime of their servers are positive and their speed tests are relatively quick.

Every time I have to login to my client’s GoDaddy site, I have to swim through a sea of advertising to get to what I came there to do. The interface is clunky and confusing, even for someone who interacts with such things for a living.

SECOND

One of my first clients wanted me to move someone’s sites from a different (probably perfectly fine) host to GoDaddy. I was appalled. She had tried to convince the stakeholders that it was a bad idea, but someone else they trusted insisted that GoDaddy was the way to go, so they were determined.[1]

GoDaddy lures customers in with prices that look low. However, they often promote prices that only apply for the first year, then lock you in for more expensive renewal prices. GoDaddy also charges for items that in the modern tech world, you don't need to pay for. SSL Certificates.
