You all consider about the web development and tools only. But there is a huge impact of the hosting as well. There are few hosting services including Shared, Dedicated and VPS, etc.

Most of the users use Shared hosting since it is cheap. Very large websites use Dedicated Servers but they are really expensive. Therefore I prefer to use VPS. Easy to use, you have your own resources. VPS can handle a huge traffic and the uptime is also nearly 100%.

Well, in current time we have number of tools for web designing and it is depends on the user that what he/she want to use for design a website. It is vary for each users. For me dreamweaver and photoshop are best.
