I totally agree with that, and I would add that you shall focus more on original content, try to provide what people regard as worthy to be read, and always update your website with fresh content.

^ No one can guarantee about reaching at top 10 search results because there is no single factor to get that position. Yes original content will help but you need to also optimize the keywords and try out getting strong backlinks.
