Wordpress is a great option, especially with the new Gutenberg block system. You can host through WP or through almost any web host. If you're looking for something free, wix is a good all around option. You can do some degree of seo work with a wix site. If you want to host and compete in search rankings, probably want to go with wordpress or another CMS that gives you more control.
